Ordering your wedding invitations from the wedding shop is easy. This page contains information to assist you, however if you find the answer to your questions is not here please ask us.
Hint:- Ordering your wedding invitations and RSVP cards first, then, when you have the final numbers order your thank you and place cards. This avoids wastage and saves you money.
How can I pay?

Ordering without a credit card or PayPal
If you do not wish to use PayPal or your credit card you can still place an order. Please contact us for other payment options.
For your security we only use secure PayPal for credit card transactions. At no time will The Wedding Shop have access to your credit card details so you have complete privacy.

Do I need to make payment with my order?
If you do not wish to use PayPal that's okay, we will contact you with other payment options. We will however, need payment before we create your proof or go to print.

How can I be sure how the invitation will look?
When you place your order an e-proof of your invitation will be emailed to you within 2 business days of receiving your payment. When you are 100% satisfied we will go to print.
To make sure you are 100% happy with your choice samples can be purchased before placing your full order.
Ordering samples
Samples are available by clicking the add to cart button for the items you would like. Samples are dispatched usually within 1-3 business days and come with generic text. Postage and handling for samples is $5.95.

How long will it take to receive my stationery order?
Wedding stationery regular printing service:-
Step 1:- You will receive an e-proof within 1 -2 business days of us receiving your order and payment. This allows you to check the text and layout of your invitations and stationery.
Step 2:- You may make any changes you require and we will send you another e-proof of your changes. We don't go to print until you tell us you are 100% happy.
(A physical proof is available on request, postage will take about 3-6 business days.)
Step 3:- We will go to print and dispatch your stationery within 10 business days of your final proof approval.

Is there a minimum stationery order?
There is a minimum order of 20 of each type of item i.e. invitations, place cards, etc, for printing with your own wording. If you are ordering a second print run with no changes required the minimum order is 10. The minimum total printed items is 20. There is no minimum for unprinted items i.e. bonbonniere and ring pillows etc. All orders are subject to usual postage fees.

* Platinum Express Post and Express Post International include tracking numbers and insurance. If your order is lost in the mail within Australia or you have not received it after 7 business days from dispatch we will resend it for you. Unfortunately we are unable compensate for customs delays on international orders. Please note Australia Post regular mail does not have tracking or insurance available.
NB Fastway Couriers may be used in place of Express Post for bulky goods.

Refund policy
General refunds:- We offer a 7-day refund policy on Pre-Printed stationery and accessory items only if no sample or swatch was received. Items must be returned in original packaging and undamaged within this time. All postage and handling on return orders shall be at the expense of the customer. A 30% administration and handling charge fee will be applied to goods returned within 8 - 21 days. Goods returned after 21 days will not be eligible for a refund. Prior authorization must be obtained before returning any goods. Goods that are ordered incorrectly will not be refunded. A full refund can be given as a credit with our website for future purchases unless otherwise arranged. No refunds will be given on printed invitations and stationery.
Discrepancies:- The Wedding Shop endeavours to ensure orders are correct and all stationery that leave production have been printed from the final proof. Any errors made by The Wedding Shop will be reprinted free of charge. However errors that are in the final proof, which has been approved by the customer, are not considered to be our responsibility. We can reprinted at replacement cost to the customer if requested. It is the client's responsibility to check all wording and layout to ensure it is correct before giving authorisation.
Cancellations:- Stationery and accessory orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch and only at the discretion of The Wedding Shop management. If a physical proof has been issued, no refund will be available under any circumstances. This is due to the possibility of scanning or laser colour copying the stationery. Invitation and stationery cancellations accepted by management within 24 business hours of placing your order will be subject to a 10% administration and handling fee. After 24 hours a fee of 20% will apply. Once an e-proof of artwork has been supplied a cancellation fee of 30% will apply.

How do I submit my wedding invitation wording?
Invitation and stationery wording When you place your order there will be a section in the check out for you to type/paste your invitation wording. Take your time writing your wedding invitation wording before submitting it for proofing. Each change made to your wedding invitation wording adds to the time it will take to receive your wedding invitation order. Remember the time quoted to go to print is from your proof approval.
Guest names only In the checkout you will find a text box to submit your guest names. Please use one line per invitation and 'enter' before typing the names for the next invitation. Please type guest names exactly as you would like them to appear on the invitations.
Guest names & addresses for envelopes To submit guest names and addresses please download the spreadsheet, save to your computer and compile your list. Addresses must be submitted in this format to ensure accuracy. Where files require to conversion there will be a file conversion fee of $39.95. View & Download guest list spreadsheet

If you have a photo you would like to use we can apply it to any of our designs or even you own stationery idea. If you choose one of our designs the price will be the same as the invitation design you choose.
